PRACTICES

The Solelation Method taught in this Mystery School is designed to engage the entire self/SELF.  To actively become aware of and then exercise and train parts of your body-ship.  These Practices are developed to help in connecting with your-self/SELF.

To engage with this work takes a big commitment with your self/SELF.  Getting to know your commitment is very personal. It requires the utmost ruthless and compassionate honesty with your self.  To know your commitment and to live it fully to the best of your ability by including it in your daily life and decisions.  Your ability to lean into your “why” (your commitment).  Depending on what your commitment is or that which you are aware of now will be the driver.  This commitment is what keeps you going when everything says stop or this is not working or some sort of judgment comes up.

Whatever your commitment you want to be able to align with it.  If your commitment for instance is to be more peaceful and able to make conscious choices rather than reaction … or perhaps your commitment is to become more radically aware to fully Awaken…  these two different commitments will get two very different things from this work.

Below you will find each practice with a brief explanation of the practice and principles behind them.

NAMING YOUR MECHANICAL MIND

To understand your Body-Ship and where you are located within or without; you must first understand what are the parts of your ship.

The part we know best and have the most identification with is The Mechanical World. The Mechanical World consist of the Mechanical Mind, which includes Patterned Thoughts. The other main component of the Mechanical World is the Wounds and Patterned Behavior.

The Mechanical Mind is easy to recognize once you become familiar with it and learn how to separate your self from it. Once you begin to understand how the mechanical mind operates and sounds like, you can consciously take action steps to recognize and change where you are. You can choose where you choose to be.

The Mechanical Mind is not the ego. The Mechanical Mind is a processor. It has just been programed a particular patterned way.

When you first start out on this journey of real self-discovery and Radical Awareness… start by giving this Mechanical Mind a proper name. Don’t put too much thought into this, what ever name pops in your head. If you find your are being slick or clever or funny with the name…. you are in the Mechanical Mind and it is in charge and coning you into “thinking” you are somewhere you are not.

Using a name helps you separate your self/Self from this Mechanical Pattered Mind.

Typically we identify with the Mechanical Mind as our self…who we are. This is the part we have known all our lives. Often times it is the only part we are conscious of. We have developed a deep relationship to the MM, one of trust and belief. By giving the Mechanical Mind a name a fissure starts to develop organically between you and your True Self and the Mechanical Mind. Give this Mechanical Mind a name and then when you recognize it is communicating or thinking and you find your self in a pattern… say this: “I may not know who I AM, and I know I AM not (the name of the MM). This practice will start to create a fissure between you and the Mechanical Mind. This fissure happens organically. You cannot make it happen. If you try to make this or anything happen you are in the Mechanical Mind.

The Mechanical Mind knows you so well… Everything about you! And will fool you at every turn and every opportunity to do so. When starting out EVERYTHING YOU SAY AND THINK IS THE Mechanical Mind. THE Mechanical Mind GOES ON AND ON AND ON… IN PERPETUITY. You cannot change it or fix it. It is what it is. Fortunately, you do not need to fix or heal anything in the Mechanical World. However, you can change your location and stop identifying with and believing this is who you are. It is not!

There are definite clues you can learn and become aware of to help you locate where you are. The Mechanical Mind is patterned. And everyone has this, thus it cannot be who you are… The Mechanical Mind is judgmental, value system, critical, to and at, controlling, fixing, doing, outcome driven, needs to know and draws conclusions. With time you can learn to hear the undertones of what is being said. For example, if you or someone says something “out of love” but the undertone is critical, or a should or a value system, this is good or better if you do this… no matter how much love or care cannot cover up the Mechanical Mind, the source of the comment and where you are at even if you think you are in or coming from your heart or love.

There is never any thing wrong in this work. It is a practice of self-discovery and Radical Awareness. So how do you respond to where you are at or find your self? Defending your position or what ever comes up? All this gives you valuable information and clues as to where you are at… If you find your self taking it personal you are in the Mechanical World and in a Pattern. If you are in the pattern you cannot see the pattern. This practice gets you off the stage so to speak. Once off the stage you can see the actors and the roles they play. When you get practiced in this you become familiar with the script and the patterns of thought and patterns of feeling and action. Once you see and begin to know this is patterned you can start to consciously make other choices.

A very good precept in healing is “though recognition comes release”.   Another is “what we resist persist” Both these precepts come into play in this practice.

This process is the same in everyone. It is unknown not unique.

PATTERN VS GRATITUDE

At any moment you have a choice. You can choose Pattern or you can choose Gratitude.

Both Pattern and Gratitude are routes to a particular destination.  Pattern is the route and  the destination is the Mechanical World.  Gratitude is the route and the destination is the Heart.

Gratitude is not the destination.  Whatever route you choose you are actively engaging with your choice. It is not just an idea or imagination.

EVERY MOMENT HAS A Y

As you start to become more aware you also start to become more responsible and accountable for your life. You become aware of choices that seem new to you and/or never knew you could make.
Every moment there is a choice. You can either choose Pattern or Gratitude

In order to be able to make a choice, you need to know where you are. You need to know the Pattern that you typically and unconsciously choose… And the opportunity to choose something different…. Choose Gratitude.  At every moment there is a Y: Pattern or Gratitude

This choosing of Gratitude is a PRACTICE. It is an activity, an action. It is not an idea or concept or a place you think or feel you should be.

(learn to listen what and where that idea resides … hint listen for judgement… if Judgement where are you? And where is judgement? So where are you?)

There is a path and a Practice for Choosing Gratitude.
What is the quintessential thing that always brings you to Gratitude?
When you are in the action of gratitude it is a visceral feeling in the heart. That feeling is undeniable… and is not just a thought or imagination.
Once you have identified the quintessential thing for you… (i.e. beauty) then you focus everything on finding beauty which is your vehicle. Your vehicle then takes you to your heart, your home via the route, which is gratitude.  Your experience when in the heart is very different than when in the mechanical mind.  (You cannot be in both your heart and your mechanical mind at the same time.)

Illustrated by this:
You have driven to the store while it was light and the weather was nice. When you go to leave, it has gotten dark and a very bad storm had begun.
What do you want at that moment….. most likely to be home and safe. But how do you get there? Your vehicle… but where is it? You put all your attention in that moment on not getting home, but where is your vehicle. Nothing else matters at this moment. ALL you attention and focus is on this activity. You don’t sit there and put any of your attention on imagining how it would be if you were home. You don’t listen to the judgement beating you up for staying in the store too long… You are single focused on finding and getting to your vehicle. So if in the example beauty is the vehicle than you focus on finding beauty. Once you find your vehicle you trust it will get you to your destination. Not trying to figure out how it will get there… once you are in your vehicle it can only go home. It knows the route to your destination. To your heart, and once you have arrived you feel it.

So the whole idea to be in gratitude is to be able to use it a s a tool and vehicle to bring you into your heart.

When you are able to recognize you are in a pattern and choose to say or do something radically different within the moment that it is occurring – not a millisecond before or after – you will be able to affect change within your neurotransmitters.  When you choose to find your vehicle in that moment you create a new pathway of your conscious choosing… one that connects to the neurotransmitter of the heart.

WHERE’S MY VEHICLE

In order to get to your destination you must first look for your vehicle.

This is one of the most important practices to practice daily.

PRACTICE/EXERCISE.

Where’s My Body?

Begin by laying down in a comfortable position. Make sure it’s comfortable because the idea is to Be-come STILL. Still within . Still mind/Mind. Still without. When the urge to move around to find comfort intensifies , and as the discomfort arises… Watch what thoughts begin to arise and how the thoughts arising are being exposed and agitated by you engaging with Y-OUR Conscious Choice and Choosing to remain Still… -Tried to move out of it. Away. Agitated. Pain . Stop. Anxiety. Fear. … All this – are (Xanax ways (leaving Siri’s comments)) in the observation of this you begin to see how chaotic IT is and operates … The Pain Body. The Pain Body is likened to a big jelly/jello-like substance . This substance is akin to the conductive jelly that are used to create a better contact and conduction around your Heart. ( Think of the gel that is put on the paddles before applying the electrical shock). This Pain Body is What makes we all ‘think ‘ that the heart needs protection… THIS heart is the Pain Body. Y-OUR HEART needs no protection … Y-OUR HEART protects you. We are doing something different here . ‘you’ are learning to remain Conscious in Stillness. In Stillness we discover. Trust. Stillness to BE able to HEAR your BODY- To LISTEN . To BE WITH. NO-Thing to DO. There is no focus on one particular thing to keep the mind from going adrift… for indeed we are developing another muscle – that of The Observer. Observing with Neutrality and Curiosity … so we begin to notice where how and when we go adrift or on a tangent or tirade and we begin to remember WMB? Remember to Feel and Sense. To feel and sense how agitated and closed off the body becomes and emotions (past denied feelings ) begin to flurry… Where’s my body? How does my body feel? This Exercise can be done on a bed, lying down. ( On the beach is also amazing …) Wherever you are, get comfortable, as you will remain still, with no moving, adjusting, scratching etc. (for a minimum of 20mins) Begin by asking “where’s my body? ” (WMB) Where’s my body? How does my body feel? Begin to focus your attention on feeling your body . Sensing … rather than thought commentary about how you feel and then why and on and on IT goes and you along with IT … once again abandoning self to follow the pied piper. WHERE’S MY BODY? HOW DOES MY BODY FEEL? Again Feel into and Sense Again As the “need “ to shift occurs, pain arises, notice , use your WILL to remain calm, STILL. Again, “Where is my body? Where’s my body? How does my body feel?” At some places and moments the body may have involuntary movements. Such as twitches quiver shakes, sounds… Allow these, don’t interfere. Stay with your body. Where’s my body? How does my body feel? if you go into the head notice where you are. Again, Where’s my body? How does my body feel ? *This is to experience and sense rather than describe.* This is the point of the exercise. To learn how to be With your body. to learn how to Sense and Feel your body without constantly thinking and being in commentary, talking all around it, and believing that we’re in the center the epicenter because we’re talking about it. Describing it. This is a position of “Where” you assert your Will. As soon as you recognize that you are off on thoughts or your grocery list of things , you are caught up in the Web and JELLY of the Pain Body. Again , WMB? How long ? Your body will tell you . How? You will suddenly be out of a deep state of awareness… your BODY will pull you out . This isn’t from the MM that says “times up” What ever you experience and observe are the merits of this exercise.

In order to be able to do this practice you must first name and understand your Mechanical Mind.  Recognize that you are not X. And activate your IAM.
